Your Squarespace website looks good, but the phone isn't ringing. That's rarely a design problem. Squarespace hides or limits much of what Google reads: page titles, structured data, internal links and how blocks render on mobile. We are a Squarespace Circle member and a Squarespace SEO agency, and our SEO services for Squarespace fix those things inside the platform without moving your website off it.

No. Squarespace outputs clean, crawlable HTML, and its websites rank well when they are set up properly. The issue is that you can't install plugins to fix things, so most of the work has to be done by hand through page settings, code injection and content structure. Generalist agencies often apply WordPress habits that don't work on Squarespace, and progress stalls.
Page titles and descriptions. Many templates reuse the website title, and collection items such as blog posts and products often keep defaults.
Structured data. Squarespace adds basic schema only. LocalBusiness, Service, FAQPage and Person schema have to be added as JSON-LD through code injection.
Heading structure. Template sections often use H1s and H2s for design, so a page can end up with several H1s, or none.
Internal linking. Index pages, summary blocks and navigation-only links leave important pages thinly connected.
Speed. Oversized images, autoplay video banners and third-party scripts slow mobile pages down.
URL changes. Renaming pages without 301 redirects in URL Mappings throws away rankings you already had.
Every engagement starts with a manual audit. It is not an automated tool report. We check:
Indexing and crawl. Sitemap, noindexed pages, duplicate collection URLs and redirects.
On-page. Titles, descriptions, headings, image alt text and content depth on your money pages.
Structured data. What Squarespace outputs today and what is missing for your business type.
Speed. Core Web Vitals on mobile, image weight and script load.
Local. Google Business Profile, citations, and location signals on the website.
Conversion. Click-to-call, form placement and booking flow.
You get a prioritized fix list, and we work through it in order of impact.
Audit and keyword map. Every important page gets one search intent.
Technical fixes. Redirects, titles, headings, schema through code injection, and image weight.
Page rewrites and new pages. Service pages, location pages and FAQs, built with native Squarespace blocks so you can still edit them yourself.
Local SEO. Google Business Profile, citations and reviews.
Monthly reporting. Calls, form fills and rankings for the pages that make money.
